We talk about life here all the time... getting the most out of it.. where we are along the way... our outlook... how we deal with tough times...
I urge everyone to go to CNN.com Find "In honor of the victims".. and click 'special report'..
There is a pic of each that have fallen.. along with a short bio... and then free comments from friends and loved ones...
It is very emotional... and many of the comments are so very touching...
Thanks, and God Bless
Victor

A friend of ours niece (VA friends) was shot at VT. Luckily, if lucky is the word to use, the bullet only grazed her face AND she only got shot in the arm. She is alive.
There is no reason for stuff like this to happen.
What has happened to the world and these kids?
In Charlottesville, VA, (Home of University of Virginia, UVA) they have free concerts in the spring through the fall on Fridays. It is called "Fridays After Five". I used to go every Friday when I lived in Virginia and loved it. I do love Charlottesville.
Anyway, tonight was their first free concert of the year.Everyone wore VT's colors. It was sea of maroon and gold/black. According to Drew, it was beautiful and very solemn. UVA and VT are rivals. When this happened, UVA sent them 30,000 candles for the candlelight vigil as well as the majority of the student body attended the vigil as well.
We hear these horrible things like this and wonder what in the world causes these young kids to do such a deed. Then you hear of all the support that these "young kids" give to each other in time of need and compassion.
Rather than focus on the deranged killer, we need to focus on the kids..our future..and how grounded 99.999% of them are instead of the .001% that are screwed up. But that doesn't make the news.
Ok. I am off my soapbox.
